Stephen Robber is sometimes absent - you can't blame him for naughty behavior at these times. You would think that he would be easy to spot, with his green hair and ragged clothes. Occasionally he is described as being completely coloured green.

This little robber is specific in his random naughtiness.. He NEVER steals money, but he will steal anything else. S.R. is not an arsonist, he wears no shoes. The crucial point about Stephen is that He never Sleeps - We presume that he never dreams and has no time for the perils of conscience his prankish behavior is continual.

He is possibly the personification of the freedom of childhood, an innocent, free from guilt. He has been incarcerated just the once - He escaped by climbing, something that he's not half bad at, and escaping any punishment or authoritarian ticking off.

Stephen is capable of countless types of rascalish type action. He doesn't steal for financial gain and takes the moral high ground over this issue - His robbing satisfies a deep need for autonomy.

No one is exactly sure of Stephen's exact physical size. The rascal's colour is important. He's Green, unlucky for some, greens suffer from no racial stigma or stereotype. S. robber could be seen as a holy thief or a prince among robbers. He may possibly be highly intelligent or cursed with a work ethic that transcends self interest..
