A set of prints recording the bizarrely dignified and fascinating dance of this structure as it gradually succumbed to the ravages of countless storms and wind shifts over a period of five years.
The shed became a post-storm barometer of ferocity and wind direction as it quite literally sank to its knees.
The summer's relentless drying wind and warping heat loosening the existing nails and accelerating the decrepitude at a pace.
Chillingly the Northerly wind always took the worst toll until the building finally reached its denouement after a prolonged and bitter episode of a North Easterly gale on the 23rd of January 2007.

It was difficult not to become fond of this brave and quirky little structure
over a period of five years.
I have attempted to leave sentimentality out of the process when creating
this set of prints.
Although not clinically objective, the series does not exaggerate the theatricality of this building's collapse.
