This project joyfully documents 'that which surrounds' - boats, boats and
more boats...
The approach/style is reminiscent of popular prewar 'tourist paintings'. These
tiny jewel - like paintings are made with intense concentration and a subtlety
which imbues each subject with a sense of celebration and 'longing'.
The finished work will comprise 30-40 paintings (mostly tiny - 12cm x 8cm) with larger exceptions
